NEW - Finger Lime + Finger Lime

***  NEW  ***

Two Finger Lime varieties on the one tree! Select from varieties such as Pink Ice, Sunshine Yellow, D'emerald, Green Giant and Judy's Everbearing.

Finger Limes are small, elongated citrus fruits, with unique and delicious pulp, that consists of many small pearls, also know as citrus caviar!

Easy to grow and they produce prolific fruit over the warm months.

When eaten, the pearls create a popping sensation with a burst of sweet-tart flavours in the mouth. Very popular garnish in cocktails and clear alcoholic drinks such as gin. Also delicious with grilled fish or even in a summer salad.

D’Emerald produces long, slender, dark coloured Finger Limes. The citrus pearls within are sparkling emerald green, tangy, juicy and easy to extract. This dense growing shrub grows to 3m and is ideal for creating hedges. It fruits all year and is quite prolific.

Green Giant (or Tasty Green) is one of the largest Finger Lime fruit sizes (10 - 13cm long). It is a vigorous, dense grower which will flower and produce fruit all year round. Plenty of water will ensure good sized fruit.

Judy’s Everbearing Finger Lime produces excellent crops of tasty, dark green skinned fruit, full of glistening citrus pearls. Originating from the understory, this variety tolerates dappled light, but does best in full sun, in a warm protected position.

Pink Ice is a popular commercial variety with large fruit and regular fruit set. Grows in a wide range of climates but cooler climates produce more colour tin the fruit (pinker blush). With medium vigour and an open canopy, it is great addition to any garden. The taste is mild and slightly bitter, with a grapefruit-like finish. Perfect in gin & tonics!

Sunshine Yellow - this variety’s bright yellow fruit contrasts nicely against the dark green foliage, making it one of the most attractive Finger Limes. This prolific fruiter grows into a dense, evenly-shaped plant approx 2.5m high. Best suited to warmer climates, as it is cold sensitive.

Citrus Fruit Salad Trees will grow to 2.5m high x 2m wide in the ground. In a pot, they will grow to about 2/3 that size depending on the size of the pot.

Note: The size of your tree is determined by many factors including soil type, sunlight, nutrition availability and overall health.

There are 2 special care requirements for our trees.
1. Keep the tree balanced! Check your tree regularly and prune back any branches that are outgrowing the others.
2. Remove Rootstock. Each fruit will be marked with white paint when you receive your tree. If you see any other growth coming from the tree trunk, remove this as this is rootstock growth.

All Citrus Fruit Salad Trees can be espaliered. This method saves space and provides extra support for heavy cropping. Click HERE to watch our video on espaliering.

All Fruit Salad Trees can be planted anytime of year. Order and plant your tree today to enjoy your home grown fruit sooner!

Citrus Fruit Salad Trees will begin fruiting within the first 12 months. You may need to remove some of the first fruits if the branch is not yet large enough to hold the weight of the fruit.

Your trees will be shipped through Australia Parcel Post including tracking. Express shipping is available for urgent delivery. Select the Express post option during checkout.
